NEWS: LONG LIVE SOUTHBANK

The historic UK skate spot is familiar to most from Palace Skateboards or Adidas Skateboarding videos featuring the likes of Blondey McCoy or Lucien Clarke and crew ripping it. It's the graffiti walled underground spot that looks incredibly fun to skate. Blondey McCoy Artform Blog SouthbankBlondey McCoy c/o Sidewalk Mag

A non-profit organization called Long Live Southbank is currently raising EU 1,100,000  to open up historic parts of the spot that need renovation. According to their site, people have been consistently skating this spot since the early 1970's, and it has served for a creative space for artists as well. While never having been, we have a great deal of respect for the UK skate scene and would love to see this spot keep running forever. If you would like to donate click here.
